What a wonderfully diverse location: from deserts to mountains, from red dirt mesas to beautiful art and oh, yes, that big canyon. We traveled two weeks with friends and spent most of our time in the magical Sedona region, Phoenix, and Flagstaff.
As an interesting sidebar to the trip, we visited the world-class Botanical Gardens in Phoenix. And if that was not spectacular enough, we just happened to be there during a major glass art installation by, none other than, Dale Chihuly! Eighty works were artfully intermixed with the garden organics. When the evening accent lighting was added, you had to hold onto your jaw! In a word, WOW!
